Using major cloud solutions from leading providers, BCD Consulting have coded & built an online solution which connects
end users directly to their community teams.
The system has different administrative groups for
‘Neighbourhood Police Teams’
and ‘Community users’ thus allowing incident and event information to be targeted to the correct audiences.

Submitting dashcam and other mobile videos has never been easier as the system automates the entire process.
Users submit incidents by clicking a map
location or selecting an address, the system identifies the correct Force and a full
workflow incident management tool keeps the user informed through-out the process.
Videos are stored in
industry leading datacentres, for any content that is private and/or sensitive there are strict role based controls
in place to govern access.
INTERACTIVE & SAFER COMMUNITIES
With 5000 Neighbourhoods nationally users can monitor as many as
they desire, receiving tailored Incident & Event notifications. The system contains 16 User Group levels as
standard (Normal/Public, Neighbourhood Watch, Police Team, Regional, National etc.), giving the required seperation as needed.
Offering a wide range of features to help Neighbourhood Police Teams to work closely with their communities,
from Neighbourhood Calendars, Community Messaging and more.
NEIGHBOURHOOD CALENDARS
Each Neighbourhood has its own Calendar, the community can organise Neighbourhood Watch
meetings, review incidents and create many other types of local events. Should a Neighbourhood be experiencing
a spate of anti-social behaviour, then authorised individuals from within the Neighbourhood Police Teams can create Patrols on the
calendar to give community reassurance.
It’s easy to see who is registered for events within a community, the attendees can easily be viewed and others
can be invited as needed. If a user wishes to limit the amount of interaction then simple screens allow easy
blocking & prevention of invites or notifications as desired, the system also allows users to block
communications from other users if required.
EASY & CONFIGURABLE INTERACTION
Users have a simple screen which allows them to select their Neighbourhoods for their 'Home', 'Work' & 'Monitored'
locations, they can then swiftly choose their participation levels (i.e. events, alerts etc.). The system
operates through the use of licences, only those with the appropriate licence level can issue updates that can be seen
the wider community.
Once the user has setup their Neighbourhoods, the system provides very stylish screens to show Incidents and Events,
thus prompting information sharing at a greater level. The method for sharing information is very simple to
understand, only those with the appropriate licence level can issue updates that can be seen the wider community, to which
anyone can respond. Additionally the system provides Live Chat to over 5000 Neighbourhoods (these can be grouped as required).
ISSUE COMMUNITY BULLETINS
Neighbourhood Police Teams can share incidents or communications directly with selected communities. The system
allows bulletins to be sent using templates that arrive in the form of internal emails. The templates are very
sophisticated and allow the quick creation of bulletins.
Incident updates can be provided to the community to stimulate two-way interaction that is near
instantaneous. Its simple and easy for the public to respond privately with information
and alerts are timed to expire so they don’t raise unnecessary traffic.
MANAGEMENT REPORTS
The system provides many pre-built sophisticated report layouts, these web reports allow quick and easy analysis of
community information and activity. The screenshots shown below are from the system and only require user data to
become active. The reports are configured to the metrics the client requires to monitor for Audit, Work Status
and much more.
The system also provides valuable statistics upon usage within Neighbourhoods, showing registration levels and
repeated usage, thus providing understanding of user adoption within Neighbourhoods.

Using API integrations an up to date list of Neighbourhoods is maintained. Users can participate in as many as they like.
